Five ski areas make the Montafon a top destination for winter sports enthusiasts: 140 kilometers of slopes, 35 lifts – including 7 “Black Scorpion” runs with a gradient of up to 81 percent, speed routes with speed measurement, freeride cross and the longest valley run in Vorarlberg.

Snowboarding, freeskiing & cross-country skiing
If you want to shred, the snow park on the Grasjoch is the right place for you! Up to 40 obstacles and a park base with comfortable loungers are waiting for you. Beginners and those returning to the sport are also right on the Grasjoch, the snow park offers kickers, rails and boxes for every level.
In the Silvretta Montafon you will find Austria’s first and so far only freeride cross. The 800 meter long course lets the adrenaline rise. It consists of classic elements from ski and snowboard cross and natural obstacles.
Ski touring
On a ski tour in the Montafon: One of the most beautiful panoramas in the Austrian Alps is a constant companion here. The varied terrain of forests, altitudes of up to 3,000 meters and slopes of all expositions ensure an exciting ascent and a feeling of elation at the summit. And the crowning glory: spectacular descents through powder snow in the Silvretta, Verwall and Rätikon areas.
